Who we are

The First Congregational Church of Westminster, Vermont was organized in 1767. We are an open and affirming independent church. We welcome and accept into full membership and participation people of every race, nationality, age, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, physical and mental ability, and economic status. 

We have a long history of being a community church, rooted in the Good News of Jesus and his teachings of love, acceptance, and transformation. We are a welcoming congregation and all are encouraged to seek God. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time or looking for a church home, you'll find a warm, diverse community here.
